Parenting littles is such a busy season of life. We work and manage our home, the kids have school, soccer, ballet and then there's church. The list of "to dos" is endless. And we have to fit family and friends in there somewhere. The days fly by and the kids grow more and more quickly. It's no wonder we get anxiety when trying to add anything else to our schedules!

At Laura Miller Photography we believe that having photos taken of your family and children should be a fun adventure! It should highlight your interests as a family and be an enjoyable experience. Your little ones are constantly growing and changing. By choosing locations and activities your family loves, we can capture your family in your natural element so you can preserve those precious and unique details that are so fleeting. Session Details
Child and family photo sessions can be in studio or outdoor. Typically, each session will last about an hour However, each little one and family is unique, and the success of each session is more important to us than a rigid timeline. It's totally normal to feel a little awkward or for kiddos to be a little shy for those first few minutes. We will play games or tell a few jokes to get everyone relaxed and laughing! ​

To help alleviate any stress, we will work together to plan your outfits, location and theme. We love trying new things so let's get creative!
Due to high demand, a non-refundable session fee is required to book and ensures your session date in our calendar.

A pre-session consultation - we will walk through all the details of your family portrait session together to plan your dream session. We will cover everything from the colors and props you prefer to tips on what you should wear for your family shots!

Customized Session - We know planning anything with kiddos can be stressful. We will send you helpful tips on how to prepare!

One on one styling and guidance. No need to worry about posing. We've got you covered!

Use of studio, props, outfits, backdrops, client closets etc. (if applicable) - Unless you have a sentimental item you'd like to include in your photos, there's no need to bring anything! We have a fully stocked studio full of wraps, headbands, props, outfits, etc.

Retouching and Design - We meticulously hand edit each image and design your finished art pieces. Once complete we handle the ordering process for you!

An in-person gallery reveal & ordering appointment - We will meet again at the studio (approximately 3-4 weeks after your session) for your in-person gallery reveal and ordering appointment. You will see your beautiful images larger than life on the big screen TV. You will be able to choose your favorites and we will go through the product options together to find the perfect pieces to showcase your memories. make sure all your questions are answered!
Family or Child Photography Session | $200
A fully customized session an location within the city of Prattville or the surrounding river region. Enjoy a fun-filled, relaxed session while you are guided into beautiful poses and prompted with fun activities to counteract those cheesy grins.
Average duration: 1 hour.

We've teamed up with a couple of exceptionally skilled local hair and makeup artists to provide you with a touch of luxury before your session, all at an exclusive rate. You have the option to include professional hair and makeup services in any session for just $125.
