Parenting little ones is such a busy season of life. We work and manage our home, the kids have school, soccer, ballet and then there's church. The list of "to dos" is endless. And we have to fit family and friends in there somewhere. The days fly by and the kids grow more and more quickly. It's no wonder we get anxiety when trying to add anything else to our schedules!
I don’t believe that family portrait photography is one-size-fits-all! I serve a very specific type of client who recognizes that if they want bright, joyful, and genuine family photos to adorn the walls of their homes, then they need more than just pretty pictures. They need an incredible EXPERIENCE!
My priority is to make sure that everyone feels comfortable and confident throughout our time together. You are more than my client, you become a friend. And my friends deserve the absolute best! I adore capturing these precious memories for you and celebrating life with you. We walk with you through the entire process to create joy-filled images and find the perfect pieces to showcase them in your home!
Having photos taken of your family and children should be a fun adventure! It should highlight your interests as a family and be an enjoyable experience. Your little ones are constantly growing and changing.
By choosing locations and activities your family loves, we can capture your family in your natural element so you can preserve those precious and unique details that are so fleeting.
Let the kiddos run and play while you relax and soak in the moment, I’ll take care of the rest. When you look back at your photos, you'll remember the times you took to have fun and really connect with your family.
Child and family photo sessions can be in studio or outdoor. Typically, each session will last about an hour However, each little one and family is unique, and the success of each session is more important to us than a rigid timeline. It's totally normal to feel a little awkward or for kiddos to be a little shy for those first few minutes. We will play games or tell a few jokes to get everyone relaxed and laughing!
To help alleviate any stress, we will work together to plan your outfits, location and theme. I love trying new things so let's get creative!

Simply contact me and share a bit about yourself and the services you're looking for. If we’re a match made in heaven and then we’ll move on to the booking process!

SAVING YOUR SESSION DATE
Now let’s make sure your date is safe and secure so that we can start planning!!! I will send you a custom online booking proposal where you can review your session details, sign your agreement and pay your session fee to make everything officially official! Now that you’re officially booked, it’s time to get started!!

CONSULTATION & PLANNING
Let the fun begin! After you book, we’ll schedule your planning appointment where we will discuss your expectations and plan how we will accomplish your vision.

YOUR SESSION
Time for your session! And don’t worry...I realize being in front of the camera isn't everyone's favorite. I will guide you through EVERYTHING! I love helping you feel comfortable and relaxed, and I promise after the first 5-10 minutes of your session, you will be pros. GUARANTEED. That's all the time we need to shake the nerves and start capturing those natural smiles and genuine connection!

GALLERY REVEAL/ORDERING APPOINTMENT
EEEEKKK....this is the exciting part! We will meet again at the studio 1-2 weeks after your session. You will see your beautiful images and will be able to choose your favorites. We will go through the product options together to find the perfect pieces to showcase your memories.

Full Portrait Session
Experience a full portrait session designed to celebrate you and your loved ones in a stress-free environment. Whether you’re capturing individual portraits, family moments, or special milestones, I’m here to make the experience enjoyable and memorable.
I’ll provide gentle guidance in posing, ensuring you feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. Together, we’ll create natural, authentic images that reflect your personality and the unique bonds you share.
This session is more than just a photoshoot; it’s an opportunity to create cherished memories while having fun! With thoughtful attention to detail, I’ll help you craft a beautiful collection of portraits that you can treasure for a lifetime. Let’s create art that tells your story beautifully!

FAMILY SESSION PRICING
A $275 non-refundable session fee is due at booking to hold your session date. $100 of this fee will be applied to the session package of your choice.
Session packages begin at $399.

I've also teamed up with a few exceptionally skilled local hair and makeup artists to provide you with a touch of luxury before your session, all at an exclusive rate. You have the option to include professional hair and makeup services in any session for just $125.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS AS A MONTGOMERY FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER
I was slightly nervous going into our family session with our two puppies. I wasn’t sure how it would go but I was so pleased with our experience! Laura was so fun, relaxed, and patient and made us feel so comfortable! Meeting Sophie was also fun - she was the sweetest helper Laura brough to help with our pups so we were able get a few shots with just Kyle and I. Going into the session, I didn’t even think about that! I 100% recommend Laura. Working with her was fantastic!

How far in advance should I schedule my session?
I recommend booking at least 4-6 weeks in advance, especially during peak seasons, to ensure I can accommodate your preferred dates and times.
